This collection of poetry is an outlet for the author’s personal experiences throughout life. It attempts to encompass the author’s worldview by exploring the complex emotions he felt when pondering these ideas. About the Author
Jedd Bailey is a young first-time author writing about his experiences and his growth as a person. His works attempt to reflect his perspective on the world and hope to provide people with a different way of thinking and to challenge their different perspectives. By gradually moving further out west, living in different areas, Jedd feels as if he has gained a lot of life experience that has led him to develop an interest in philosophy and anthropology, exploring themes like existentialism and the human condition. Despite Jedd’s affinity and predisposition towards short-form poetry like haikus and limericks, he has challenged himself by mostly steering clear of his usually soft and sweet work, instead opting for longer and deeper forms of poetry in order to explore his interest in big concepts.

Over the course of 2024, a select group of young writers was invited to take part in a year-long writing program at Story Factory. Their goal was to produce a collection of poetry. This is one of the collections produced in these workshops.
