I Live to Fight is a deeply personal and heartfelt collection of works that explores a wide range of themes and subjects including love, loss, perseverance, and the importance of family and community. From the powerful and emotional tribute to his loving uncle who passed away, to the inspiring and uplifting poems about his boxing coach, his words are raw and honest, drawing on his own experiences and emotions to create a powerful and moving portrait of the world around him.
I Live to Fight is a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit.
Over the course of 2023, a select group of young writers was invited to take part in a year-long writing program at Story Factory. Their goal was to produce a collection of poetry. This is one of the collections produced in these workshops.
