Well that’s what a Turkish young teenager named Amara always thought of herself as. A sook, too emotional and too dramatic, until she finds a mysterious amulet and her world is flipped quite literally. Everything that is supposed to be fiction has begun to feel terrifyingly real.
Caught between emotional chaos and the unknown, Amara must confront a new reality that defies logic and become the best version of herself to save everyone she’s ever known.

Over the course of 2025, a select group of young writers was invited to take part in a year-long writing program at Story Factory. Their goal was to produce a fully realised novella. This is one of the novellas produced in these workshops.
